Microsoft Just Reinvented Copilot: Here’s What Changed on September 25, 2026

Image
Microsoft Copilot is about to become much more than an AI chatbot. On September 25, 2026, Microsoft announced a major redesign of Copilot, bringing together AI chat, Office, app creation and autonomous AI agents in one experience. The announcement introduces three major parts: Home, Code and Autopilot . And the idea behind them is simple: instead of only asking Copilot questions, users will increasingly be able to give it work to do . Copilot Gets a New Home The first major change is simply called Home . It becomes the new starting point for Copilot, bringing different ways of using the AI together in one place. Users can chat with Copilot as before, but they can also use Cowork to delegate more complicated jobs. Instead of saying: "Summarize these documents." You could give Copilot a bigger objective and let it work through the different steps. Microsoft gives examples such as preparing an RFP response, creating a launch package, preparing a customer briefing or putting tog...

AI Agents: How Autonomous Artificial Intelligence Systems Actually Work

Image
Artificial intelligence is moving beyond systems that simply answer questions or generate content. A new generation of AI can interpret goals, make decisions, use tools, and carry out multiple steps with limited human intervention. These systems are known as AI agents . But how do they actually work?

No Cable, No Problem: How Wireless Charging Really Works

Image
Wireless charging has changed the way we power smartphones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other electronic devices. Instead of connecting a cable directly to a device, users can simply place it on a compatible charging pad or stand. But how can electricity travel from a charging pad into a device without a physical connection? The answer lies in electromagnetic induction , a technology that allows electrical energy to be transferred between two coils. Although the concept may seem futuristic, the principles behind wireless charging have existed for more than a century.

QWERTY: The Keyboard Layout That Shaped Modern Computing

The QWERTY keyboard layout is one of the most recognizable interfaces in modern technology . Found on computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and countless other devices, its distinctive arrangement of letters has become so familiar that most people rarely question why the keys are positioned the way they are. QWERTY has a fascinating history that began with mechanical typewriters in the 19th century. What started as a solution to the technical limitations of early typing machines eventually became a global standard that continues to influence how people interact with technology today. What Is QWERTY? QWERTY is a keyboard layout named after the first six letters on the top row of the alphabetic keyboard: Q, W, E, R, T, and Y . The layout organizes letters, numbers, punctuation marks, and other keys into a standardized arrangement. While modern keyboards are electronic and no longer face many of the mechanical limitations of early typewriters, the basic QWERTY arrangement has rema...
